Countdown to Indian Wells–Day 3

Posted on March 11, 2010 by Agallivant

All the pics of Indian Wells are just making me antsy!

My tax guy had a cancellation and gave me a 12 pm slot, so I had to stay up really late organizing all of my receipts from my life on the road.

Most expensive outing: Davis Cup at over $1,400 because I refused to take the dodgy hotel I landed through Hotwire, choosing to stay at a safer and more inhabitable stop.

Cheapest outing: Legg Mason in DC at just over $260 including my flight! As if I needed another reminder that money is not everything.Yeah I’m getting it. Not only was the shuttle just a block from my friends’ home, I was able to have a day of tennis and then retire home for dinner and conversation.

I am gonna go one better this year, keeping my budget tight.
