Tennis Labor Day at the US Open

My reserved seat in Armstrong paid off quite nicely when I saw this line-up for my Labor Day viewing at the US Open:

Novak Djokovic (SRB) [1] vs Philipp Kohlschreiber (GER) [22

Ekaterina Makarova (RUS) [17] vs Eugenie Bouchard (CAN) [7]

Stan Wawrinka (SUI) [3 vs Tommy Robredo (ESP) [16]

It’s rare to see the #1 player up close at the US Open on Armstrong. Although I was fairly certain that Djokovic would win easily, I had to see the match.  I always enjoy Stan and I had never seen Genie Bouchard live.  I then followed up my day session by watching  Kei Nishikori take down Milos Raonic in 5 sets until 2:26 AM under the lights in Ashe.
